On April 25, Russian lawyers, journalists and designers launched the Priemnaya Service of filing appeals with deputies. Priemnaya’s database provides the data of regional deputies, allows filling out an appeal using a template compiled by lawyers, filing it through the service and getting a response within 30 days under law. The authors hope that relatives of conscripts use the service and learn how to get a guarantee that their loved ones will not be sent to Ukraine during the special operation.

"Our task is to constantly reduce the level of indifference to what is happening. This project is primarily aimed at our apolitical or even moderately pro-government fellow citizens who do not understand yet that the prolongation of hostilities may affect their family members," the activists wrote.

The service’s authors believe that "if there are a lot of appeals, officials and deputies will understand that the issue is really important for society and further actions will follow."

In Russia, the Massovye Obrashcheniya (mass appeals’) Movement’s activists file requests from Russians with deputies. They have filed more than 18 thousand appeals to the bodies of legislative and executive powers since the special operation’s start in Ukraine.
