The authors of the project are sure that the authorities or heads of budgetary institutions can start forcing people to vote or buying votes. In addition, there may be threats directed against election commissions members, illegal detentions of activists, and the prosecution of journalists.

— The upcoming week-long vote will be of key importance: both for the authorities and for all Russian people. We can already see how officials are doing their best to attract the voters, —  human rights activists said.

Apologia of Protest is going to support everyone who has experienced pressure during the preparation or holding of the all-Russian voting.

Feel free to report any pressure you have felt to this Telegram chat.

Apologia of Protest is a human rights project of the Agora International Group. Its goal is to provide legal assistance to activists detained at protest actions. Alexei Glukhov, a lawyer from Cheboksary, is one of the task managers.
