Alexei Kolegov was assigned 30 thousand rubles under the article on misuse of the freedom of mass information (Part 9 of Article 13.15 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). In early March, he posted a video message, "I want to know the truth about [the special operation]! And I do not want to live in the USSR!". In it, the resident of Syktyvkar said that the authorities "were keeping the number of victims in secret."
Kolegov was tried under Article 13.15 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, because he posted a video message before the article about discrediting the military appeared in Russia.
In July, Kolegov's page on vk.com was blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office because of an anti-war post. He called the blocking "a manifestation of political persecution of civil activists with an opinion."
Kolegov had won a payout of 150 thousand rubles for unlawful prosecution against the police. Six protocols were drawn up against him for non-compliance with administrative supervision and leaving the city when the court forbade him to participate in pickets and rallies.
The supervision was assigned to him because in 2015, he was convicted of participating in the nationalist Rubezh Severa* (‘Frontier of the North’) Organization. He was in a general regime colony for 2.5 years. Members of Rubezh Severa* persecuted homosexuals (according to them, pedophiles) and local activists.
