Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs filed a lawsuit against nine residents of Arkhangelsk demanding compensation for the work of employees on weekends — January 23 and 31, 2021. Among the defendants are ex-photographer of Navalny's headquarters* in Arkhangelsk Ruslan Akhmetshin, former coordinators of the organization* Elizaveta Bychkova and Egor Butakov, member of the Yabloko Party Yuri Chesnokov, etc. In court, the Ministry of Internal Affairs refused the demands imposed on local resident Kirill Golubchik, since he did not participate in the actions.

According to SOTA, the police refused to tell the court to whom and how much money had been paid for "working overtime" at the rallies.

One of the defendants, pensioner Olga Kuznetsova, will not afford to pay the money, because her pension is much smaller. The activists intend to file an appeal.

In August 2022, the Ministry of Internal Affairs collected 147 thousand rubles from activists from Ufa for working on the rallies in support of Alexei Navalny. The money should be paid by Olga Komleva, eco-activist Ilgam Yanberdin, and ex-coordinator of the headquarters* in Ufa Lilia Chanysheva. She has been in jail for almost a year. She is accused of creating and leading an extremist organization.

At the end of 2021, 7x7 calculated that security forces had collected at least 9.5 million rubles for their work on the rallies in January from Navalny's supporters from different regions over the year.
